Martina Miholić

Glowing Globe, SingularityArt, Rijeka 2026, 16 Mai symposium at the Astronomski centar Rijeka Martina Miholić graduated from the Department of Printmaking at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in 2004 and earned her MA from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London in 2011. She works as a visual artist, curator, and producer in the field of contemporary art, with a focus on spatial installations, objects, video, and interdisciplinary formats. From 2006 to 2010, she was Artistic Director of the International Student Theatre and Multimedia Festival Test!, and from 2008 to 2012, within the association ULAZ and in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in London, she led the international project Export–Import. In 2016, she co-curated the 33rd Youth Salon together with Mia Orsag. Since 2012, she has coordinated the PM and Prsten Galleries at the Croatian Association of Visual Artists (HDLU) and produced major national art events, including the Youth Salon, the Painting Biennale, and the Zagreb Salon. She has exhibited extensively in solo and group exhibitions in Croatia and abroad, including presentations at Tunnel Grič, the Museum of Contemporary Art Zagreb, the Meštrović Pavilion (HDLU), VN Gallery, and Hoxton Gallery in London, as well as participation in EXPO 2025 Osaka. Her video works have also been presented at international festivals, including the Osnabrück Independent Film Festival and the Bideodromo International Film Festival. She is the recipient of the Award of the 14th Croatian Sculpture Triennial and, as an award-winning artist, is participating in the 15th Croatian Sculpture Triennial (Museum of Contemporary Art Zagreb, 2025). She has also completed several artist residencies in France and the Netherlands.
