Requirements and Best Practices for As-Built Surveying, Drafting & Modeling

This will touch on a subject not discussed often in architectural renovations but a crucial component – As-Built Plans. We’ll go over the scenarios when they’re needed, the requirements that may need to be met, and then some best practices using manual methods to collect onsite data as well as lidar scanning. There will also be discussion of actual As-Built Plan Creation, in both 2D and 3D formats. This will be a virtually conducted Power Point presentation with lots of discussion and questions encouraged, conducted by an As-Built specialist who works for a firm with 100’s of architects from both small and large firms as clients.
