Deep End || Kang Ha || Hierarchy FMV

AU where Kang Ha's revenge plan actually works. I enjoyed the first few episodes of the show very much. As other viewers have already spoken up about, the show's ending falls flat, mostly because of its inability to choose a main character to focus on. We know virtually nothing about Kang Ha's past, about his relationship with his twin, about what he left behind to execute his plan. Instead, he simply seems like a weak character, unable to commit fully to his ambition. I truly believe that straying from his goals because of a woman isn't what makes the show bad, but rather that it does not showcase Kang Ha's dilemma surrounding avenging his brother or choosing Jae-i. Everything interesting about this show seems to happen behind the scenes, without it ever truly guiding us towards the intrigue's completion. It therefore falls flat, incomplete. If there is ever a second season, I truly hope it focuses on showing the action when it happens, and the process behind it, rather than when it is already completed.
