Siamese Twin D8 BullDozer
Ed Akin had a dream to recreate a Siamese Twin D8 Tractor. Ed discussed his idea with Glen Ghilotti. Glen was passionate about Ed's dream too, so they contacted Duane Doyle with Peterson Tractor to team up with them to recreate this special tractor. There were 3 original Siamese Tractors built by Peterson Tractor in 1948-1950. They were designed by Buster Peterson. In the mid 50's the Mighty D9 replaced the need for these special double wide tractors.
