Happy New Year! In November 2021, Jason of ‪@PrimalOutdoors‬ and I headed out for a new weeklong adventure in eastern Oregon, picking up where we left off last year. Our goal: extend the Bend-Alvord route through some of the most remote and spectacular backcountry Oregon has to offer. We set off on this exploratory scouting trip to check whether our tentatively planned route would actually go through, make adjustments as needed, and see what points of interest we could discover along the way.
