2016 Get Home Bag

Here is my version of the ultimate get home bag! Everybody should have one of these in their car for emergencies. Exactly what goes in the get home bag depends on your skills and experience. It should contain items for shelter, water, fire, food, navigation, first aid and self defense. A soccer mom or a business person with no training will not have the same gear in their get home bag as a trained and experienced survivalist. While a survivalist probably really needs no gear to survive and to get back home in most situations, the get home bag does increase speed, saves energy, and increases safety. That is why EVERYONE should have one.
