Diving Capernwray | UK Dive Site Guide | Capernwray - Jackdaw Quarry Scuba Diving Centre

Hi everyone, I made this video on the day Capernwray Dive Centre opened to the public after the 2020 Coronavirus COVID19 Pandemic lockdown of 3 months. The viz was good, the water was warm and we were first in the water. We got some great shots using a mix of GoPro Hero 8, Olympus OMD EM1 Mk2, and the DJI Mavic Air drone. New social distancing measures in place mean a slightly different walk in and out of the shop and cafe areas, but nothing more than we are used too already. Staff and custonmers seemed to be getting on with the day really well. Great day and start to the summer diving season hopefully! There are lots of good reasons to visit what many regard as the UK’s finest inland diving centre - crystal clear water, great underwater attractions, amazing fish life, easy access, great facilities and friendly, highly-experienced staff whose sole aim is to ensure you have a fantastic day, above and below the surface. I think this place is pretty special and hope you will think so too.
