Among the mess were a few unexpected surprises too. Hard work, dirty water, and real impact. Join me on my many adventures, cleaning the environment of all the rubbish & scrap hiding in our waterways with friends popping in to say hello, see my finds & restorations, 500,000 items of litter make their way into the sea from UK rivers every year, impacting on marine life The canals & rivers of England & Wales could be plastic-free in a year if every visitor picked up one piece of litter Confronting climate change means we have to do more than change a few light bulbs, & it’s clear that current regulations aren’t cutting it, either. But what, exactly, can we do? We can grab a bag & a magnet or grapple and go find this stuff, dispose of it responsibly making the environment better for future generations & the wildlife.The comments of support & donations keep us going but the real thanks is when we see the wildlife returning to an area we have cleaned.
