Restaurierung Österreich's größter und schnellster je gebauter Dampflokomotive in 4k UHD

This video shows the status of the restoration of the steam locomotive type 12.10 in the Technical Museum Vienna on January 18, 2020 filmed with a Sony FDR-AX700. The locomotives, initially referred to as BBÖ 214, were Austrian express steam locomotives. They were the largest steam locomotives ever built in Austria and the strongest express locomotives with the longest connecting rods that existed in Europe at that time. To date, the 214 has the longest connecting rods in the world. During test runs, a locomotive reached a speed of 155 km / h. After extensive preparatory work, type 12.10 is now in the west hall of the Vienna Technical Museum. It will take some time before the locomotive can be presented in a new exhibition, since many individual parts still have to be processed and assembled. Until then, the progress of the works in the museum can be observed by visitors to the house.
