How you can hack your life to make good “luck” happen | Nickole Li | TEDxStockholm
Some people think that when someone is successful, they must have been “lucky”, but game developer Nickole Li makes the case that to a large degree we can make our own luck and greatly increase the chances of success by applying some simple to follow rules inspired by successful people like Marie Curie, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Kanji Manchhu Desai. Nickole Li is a systems designer in the video game industry, and enjoys picking systems apart to see how they work. She worked on games like Ghost Recon to Battlefield and Minecraft. After working for Ubisoft Singapore, she moved to Sweden to work at DICE and now Mojang. She is currently looking into the ways AI will revolutionize lives. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
