Scoring an animated film scene
In which I show how I approach scoring a film scene, in this case an animated introduction to the South African documentary "The Block, the Plot, the House the Tree", directed by Solam Mkhabela. With slowed tape loops I try to make the most out of less, while using contrasting instrumentation to root the scene in its troubled historical context.
