Roberta Peters in M. W. Balfe's "The Bohemian Girl" (London, 1951)

Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, London Conductor: Thomas Beecham (click "show more" for additional details) Originally broadcast by the BBC. Aria included at the beginning of Act 3. According to Balfe biographer William Tyldesley, this aria (which is not present in the original English-language version of the score) is an interpolation (in translation) from the four act Paris version, "La Bohémienne." Sadly, a complete recording of the Paris version (which, again according to Tyldesley, is considerably different) is not known to exist. As to the 1951 recording, only a few excerpts from Act III were ever released on vinyl. It is not known if a full recording of the performance exists in the BBC archives. EDIT: The complete performance has recently been unearthed and released on CD by the collector's label crqeditions.co.uk. The issue number is CRQ CD134-136 (3 CDs).
