“Thorns” - Life-Stacking Tempest Shield

TL;DW: Stack life using a standard Apostate + Adorned + int-based rares setup (Dissolution of the Flesh will brick the build though) Path to life, attack/spell block, and jewel sockets on the tree 6.5 link Tempest Shield with "% more damage" supports; get enough MRE to have ~8-10% mana unreserved Give Tempest Shield a base life cost with Runegraft of the Witchmark Use a high-rolled Indigon to get "% increased cost of skills for each 200 total mana spent recently" Set up a 2-link Bladefall of Trarthus to spend the appropriate amount of mana over time to maintain 2 Indigon stacks at a steady-state. Fine-tune the life cost of Tempest Shield to be just under your maximum unreserved life giving it flat damage from Unlight Silhouette and % damage/crit from Rathpith Globe without the downsides of paying / sacrificing life. Tempest Shield now deals over 5 million damage per hit thanks to your life stacking; no buttons required. Use Shield Charge + The Monastery Bell to apply that damage on-demand. Be nearly immortal from pseudo-lucky block, Defiance of Destiny pre-hit recovery, and % life regen while Tempest Shield passively deals massive "thorns damage" to your enemies.
