MAXICLIMBER ROLLER #4 KEEP STEPPING

Roller Damage happens. You have several choices. I have chosen to see what would happen if I left the rollers on past when I would normally replace them. I was surprised that actually the rollers started to roll smoother after a while. NOTE: Not as smooth as nice fresh rollers, but smoother. Uncle Bill Dube is going on his fourth year of MaxiClimber and still loving it. Here is a quick video about tip #4 and and some tips on roller replacement. Yes I say wheels all the way through this video instead of rollers. It was a long day. Bolt location on pedals ============================== Diagram Bolt on Pedals x's represent bolts not holding rollers and should be left alone. MaxiClimber x x x || || x x x B C || || C B A | | A ============================== *Tools: 13mm Socket and ratchet *Do Rollers one side at a time. *New rollers stay in box until used. Remove lock nuts on bolts A,B,C on one side. Next remove bolts from same. Remove rollerchange rollers on MaxiClimber Classic s A or C then other. And then B. Really doesn't mater much. Big thing is to pay attention not to twist, but pull roller straight down when removing. (Note: If you want you can remove bolt and roller at same time, but I have found this way to be fastest and most efficient) Order counts installing new rollers refer to pedal you didn't work on should you have any wonder bolt, roller, or lock nut placement for installation. Bolt and roller in position B are installed first. Do not put on nut until all three rollers are in place. Next is bolt and roller in position A. Since next step involves a little bit of jiggling you can hand thread nuts on bolts but don't tighten. Lastly install bolt and roller position C in place. Finger tighten lock nut on bolt C. Now tighten all lock nuts on new rollers use the other pedal as reference as to how far to put lock nut on. Overtightening can damage roller. Now repeat process on other pedal with remaining new rollers. (save your rollers as odds are the bearings may come in use for another project. Also if you want when you first spot roller damage you can rotate your rollers from position B-&gt C, C-&gt A, and A-&gt B to increase life of your rollers until your replacements arrive.) ============================== If you buy a MaxiClimber be sure to register for your one year warranty and before that runs out pay for a three year extension and continue doing that every three years as it is much cheaper than a gym membership.
