Waarom je dit NIET moet doen (maar ik deed het toch)

New rally mirrors on my CFMOTO seemed like a simple upgrade… until I had to drill holes in the bike's barkbusters. While working on the bike, I'm testing whether this setup actually makes my adventure bike better… or completely ruins it. I could easily fold the original motorcycle mirrors inwards while off-roading when riding between trees or through narrow paths, but I wanted something more compact that fits the adventure setup of the CF MOTO 450MT better. However, while working in the workshop, it quickly becomes apparent that this isn't just a simple mirror upgrade. To get everything to fit on the barkbusters, I have to measure, adjust, position, and eventually grab the drill anyway. That makes these kinds of DIY motorcycle projects fun at the same time… and sometimes quite nerve-wracking. In the meantime, I am getting the bike ready step by step for departure to Norway. This mirror upgrade is one of the many preparations for that trip. Curious how that trip ultimately went? Watch the complete Norway series here:    • Rijd mee naar het noorden   I am curious what you guys think: an improvement… or should I have left it alone? The mirrors in this video are the Rottweiler Arrow mirrors from rallymotor.nl. No partnership or affiliate, by the way; I just really thought this was a nice product for this motorcycle setup.
