Dog Saved with Drone after 10 Days Missing

A Roulette-Travel.com Documentary On November 11, 2020, a one year old Golden Retriever named Meadow went missing in the mountains of Upstate New York, and was lost for ten days. The small town of Andes in the western Catskills came together to search day in and day out - exhausting nearly every method available to the town's 1,300 residents. I'm Brian James, a hiking guide and drone pilot, and on November 19th came across a post on Reddit about Meadow's ongoing search - and realized that I might be able to put my skills to use. To be honest, I did not have much hope that I would be able to rescue a lost dog - but I knew I had the capability to at least try. On November 21, 2020, I drove a little over an hour to fly my drone above the area where she had been lost - and what happened from there was nothing short of a miracle. Since then, the story has been featured on ABC World News Tonight, Good Morning America, People, Daily Mail, Happily and various media outlets across the world, spreading hope and joy to others. Using my drone, I was able to rescue Meadow after ten days alone in the woods - and reunite her with her family in Ohio.
