Daily Recap June 29th 2026 Yes, that’s Jer snoring. I love to hear his little snores and seems like all the boys were snoring this morning. We don’t have strict summer schedules, and I’m glad when they simply rest. Nurse T did Jer’s morning care and I stepped away to breathe as I’ve just had alot going on. I came back in time for us to take him to therapy. At therapy during measurements, Ms Jessica noticed his tightness and after evaluation, his hip was “clicking”. I immediately called his out of town ortho and hopefully they can squeeze us in for some imaging. I’ll try to explain it after imaging fully. Jeremiah's TK2D causes severe muscle weakness and low muscle tone, so the muscles that normally keep the hip securely in its socket may not provide enough support, allowing the hip to gradually shift (subluxate) over time. He was also visually upset so we just have to go back to the drawing board. It was a little heavy for me because his body would t be able to handle the surgery to repair it when/if it does get to that point. So I’ll just pray and wait for imaging while coming up with alternate plans. Jer got to play with Amir for a few and we just relaxed as my mind is full. Jer enjoyed watching the videos from today and he is up in bed already. Tomorrow we head to a nearby city for his doctors appointment so goodnight. Today we pray that when worry seems to click, that you remember that God is the same one who helped make a way previous times. May you follow His faithfulness and trust Him no matter what.
