It is situated right by Dresden Castle, tucked into the very heart of the Old Town. I am talking about being just a two-minute walk from the Semper Opera and practically steps away from the stunning Frauenkirche. You can literally step out of the front door and feel like you've walked straight into a history book. But it isn't just about the location; the vibe inside is pure elegance. I checked into my room, and let me tell you, the space is massive. They have these beautiful, spacious rooms and suites that just scream luxury. They've thought of everything, too, we're talking flat-screen TVs, great coffee and hot drink facilities, and my absolute favorite part: a choice of pillows! Seriously, if you are a picky sleeper like me, you are going to love this. They even provide plush bathrobes, slippers, and a complimentary bottle of mineral water to make you feel right at home. If you're looking to unwind, you have to check out their Purovel Spa. It is located in a historic stone cellar, which gives it this incredibly cool, moody, and relaxing atmosphere. You can melt away your stress in the sauna or book a massage in one of their specialized rooms. And for my fellow fitness lovers, they have this amazing Alpine-style fitness room that is perfect for getting a quick workout in before you head out to explore. When I wasn't exploring the city, I spent a lot of time in their lounge, snacking on delicious homemade pastries. And when the sun goes down, you absolutely have to head to their chic bar. There is nothing quite like ending a day of sightseeing with a perfectly crafted cocktail in such a sophisticated setting. Getting around is a total breeze, too. The Altmarkt and Theaterplatz tram stops are only about three hundred and fifty meters away, so you can hop on a tram and be at the Dresden Central Station in no time.
