Mindustry Hex PvP: Are these mods cheating?

The first full day to myself, so I went and binged games on my server. In this game, I started out marveling at just how damn good the situational awareness of my opponent was, only to later learn they were using mods that show them absolutely all the information about what I'm doing, making it impossible to do anything by surprise. Does that sound fair to you? Unfortunately, as a server plugin writer, there isn't a good solution for preventing it so i dunno. I guess we're stuck. I tried to not call out the name of my opponent, but their name is still visible in places and i failed to avoid saying it every time.
