Looks like KO manufacturers have made their own brand name which at a glance does appear to say Takara Tomy. Is this in response to unsuspecting people getting ripped off by being sold a KO as an original? Who knows, which is why it's always a good idea to buy from a reputable place like TF-Direct.com. They label their KO's as KO and also sell the original also!
