Antero Vornanen's 5-string kantele from the 1930's
A rare instrument on a test. Experimenting the changes in the sound when changing the string material from steel to bronze and brass, and also when changing the pitch. This instrument is the only known piece of a 5-string kantele model that was made in series by a famous kantele master Antero Vornanen in 1930's. In addition, different fingerings for the old plucking technique is shown on the video.
