As it's getting hotter, we took a morning walk along the riverbank while it was still cool. Along the way, we were surprised by the sound of a pheasant calling and encountered a family of swans. The dogs also enjoyed sniffing all sorts of scents, enjoying the scenery, smells, and sounds of nature – it was great brain training for them. After our walk, we went back to the car for breakfast. We prepared a proper breakfast for ourselves too, ate, and headed home. We'll try to get through the summer this year by being creative and resourceful.
