In this video, I talk about what we in Russia, and more generally in the post-Soviet countries, mean by the word "friend". I mention that we tend to take this word quite seriously, and that friendship is something that is tested over many situations and over many years. But I realized that I forgot to mention something important. Even if we don't consider someone a friend, I feel that we still tend to let people into our lives more easily and more sincerely, sharing jokes and personal secrets with them more readily than, some foreigners do.
