ATIMONAN ADVENTURE | ZSA ZSA PADILLA

Atimonan is found in the province of Quezon. It’s famous for being an eco tourism destination! To get there, you will pass the Bitukang Manok or the old zigzag road. We will visit parts of Quezon Protected Landscape where we will go trekking for an hour or two to Pinagbanderahan Summit which is 1,201ft above sea level. The park is also known for its virgin forest beaming with flora and fauna that is endemic to Quezon. In the forest, you will see and hear the Hornbill or Kalaw, Hawk or Lawin, monitor lizards, monkeys among others. We will also share local folklore about it’s majestic trees. Learn the art of “bulungan” as we take you to one of my favorite things to do- marketing or “pamamalengke” at the Atimonan Fish Port. We will try the cold waters of Bantakay Falls, catch fresh water shrimp and savor their local delicacy, Pinais. We will do stone cooking at the Virgin Island of Pangao, learn spear fishing and take a siesta break in a hammock by the mouth of a cave at the end of the island.
