CASIO CT-X3000 20 Pedal Settings
On the CT-X3000 and CT-X5000 keyboards you can connect two pedals which can control a variety of functions - sustain, sostenuto, soft, and rhythm/song start/start. In addition, with an expression pedal connected into Pedal 2 it can control layer volume. There is a lot of flexibility for the pedals as they can be on or off for each layer - Upper 1 (U1), Upper 2 (U2), Lower 1 (L1), Lower 2 (L2). If you decided to purchase another footswitch pedal for the instrument, make sure there is a switch to change the polarity so that it will work with the Casio (and other makes of keyboard). I use the Yamaha FC7 expression pedal and it works perfectly - set it to Type 2 in the Controller/Pedal menu.
