Arcaedion by Children of Nova Full Band FC #4756

Once in a blue moon, I feel compelled to write a description to give my thoughts on a certain FBFC. And by once in a blue moon, I think the last time I did that is for Second Sight Blackout. Fitting. Back when I joined Team Aftermath in 2013, I remember setting this incredibly unrealistic goal of FBFCing every Children of Nova song. All 8/8. I remember being hot off the trail getting the 2nd Ever FC of this in Rock Band 2, thinking I was tough shit, and that it'd be a nice long-term accomplishment to work for, even though I still considered We Collide to be unFCable at the time. Fast-forward to the year of our lord and savior 2020 and somehow, this dream became a reality. We Collide just kinda unexpectedly fell into our lap after some meme-turned-into-serious attempts, but Arcaedion still put up quite a fight to get done. I had a pretty brutal full band -1 three weeks ago, and even today, it still took two unfortunate chokes in the drags past the drum solo before it finally happened. It may have taken a last-ditch effort during the final 8 hours before its RB4 release to get the job done, but we never claimed to be good at preparing in advance. Just look at how Obfuscation and Berzerker turned out... wait :( To say this is a relieving FBFC to achieve after so many years is a massive, massive understatement. I want to thank everyone on this team who helped put this amazing artists work to rest, back from The Fall of Aphonia FBFC at #290, to now. You guys are the best. Here's hoping we see more Children of Nova in Rock Band 4 soon! And Rishloo, please. I beg. -Chris
