Omar Meftah, better known as Meftah is a Detroit-based producer, DJ, and visionary behind Musha Publishing. With a foundation rooted in multi-instrumentalism and beatmaking, Meftah’s musical oeuvre transcends genres, encapsulating what he terms as the ‘Sounds of the Diaspora’. In 2020, he released his debut EP, ‘Information Travels Through' (AOM001), marking the inception of his Musha Publishing imprint, and carving out a distinctive sonic identity within Detroit’s illustrious music landscape. In addition to his solo endeavors, Meftah boasts and impressive repertoire of collaborative works, including co-production credits on Amp Fiddler's 'Keep Coming' remixes under Moodymann's Mahogani Music (MM-43, 2019), and instrumental contributions to Black Noi$e's 'OBLIVION' album released on Earl Sweatshirt's Tan Cressida Records (2020). His talents have further garnered recognition through appearances on !K7 Records’ DJ-Kicks: Theo Parrish (K7414LP, 2022), solidifying his position as a prominent figure in Detroit’s musical community.
