Deer in Nara are more civilized than me... (day trip to Nara 🇯🇵)

A quick escape from the city to the ancient capital of Nara, a place of civilized deer. Nara is a place where history and nature are mixed, but it’s the local "residents" that really steal the show. We head straight for Nara Park to meet the famous bowing deer, but I didn't expect them to be this civilized. Seeing deer actually wait for the green light at a pedestrian crossing is something you must see to believe. After we make our way toward the massive Todai-ji Temple, home to one of the largest bronze Buddha statues in the world and being one of the largest wooden buildings too. Between the law-abiding deer and the size of the temple, Nara is an amazing day trip from Osaka. #NaraJapan #NaraDeer #JapanTravel #Nara
