Elephant Butte Trail; Queen Valley Arizona
This is a 13 mile round trip out and back trail in Queen Valley, Arizona. Rolled this on a Sunday and only saw one ATV and a couple of hikers. This trial is primarily on Arizona State Trust Land so you will need a state trust land permit. They are available at www.Land.AZ.Gov and are $15 for individual, and $20 for a family. Permits are good for 12 months (as of May 2022). I have found the State Trust Land a great place to off road and is generally significantly less traveled. **Prior to entering Arizona State Trust Land, the land on either side of Elephant Butte Road is PRIVATE PROPERTY. DO NOT TRESPASS ON PRIVATE PROPERTY. THE ELEPHANT BUTTE ITSELF IS ALSO ON PRIVATE PROPERTY. PLEASE RESPECT THEIR PRIVATE PROPERTY OWNERSHIP.**
