ABOUT THIS SESSION The new moon in Gemini marks the darkest moment of the lunar cycle, the moment when something is allowed to end so that something new can begin. In the new moon, the sky holds no light. It is a threshold. Gemini is the sign of thought, expression and communication, and this session follows that thread. It is not about grounding or heavy emotion. It is about clarity: letting go of the noise, the overthinking, the mental weight, and finding stillness in the mind. A new moon is like a seed planted in the dark, waiting to grow. ABOUT THE TITANIUM GONGS Most gongs in the world are made from bronze or nickel-silver alloys. Titanium is a different matter entirely. It is one of the hardest metals to work with, with a melting point above 1,600°C, and it resists the techniques traditional gong-making relies on. Crafting a single gong from it is slow, demanding work. The result is a sound bronze cannot produce: bright, vast, with shimmering overtones that seem to keep opening long after the strike. The three gongs in this session belong to two series, Fluid Light and Angel, handcrafted as healing gongs for WorldBridgerGongs. ABOUT THE MUSICIANS Aaron Southorn travels the world with these gongs under the name WorldBridgerGongs, carrying Sacred Shamanic Sound Healing from place to place. He has played at Uluru, in the Atacama Desert, in Egypt, England and Switzerland, at specific points around the planet. ABOUT THE PLACE The Terme di Casteldoria are thermal springs on the Fiume Coghinas in northern Sardinia, where water rises hot from volcanic rock, as it has for thousands of years. Phoenicians, Greeks and Romans all came to these waters. The volcanic stone, the river and the heat rising from the earth make this one of the oldest gathering places on the island.
