Lake Wolfgang or Wolfgangsee is a big lake of approximately 10 km in length in Upper Austria. The lake is named after Saint Wolfgang of Regensburg. The old name of the lake was Abersee. The lake is partly located in the region of Salzburg (Salzburgerland) and in the region of Salzkammergut. Municipalities along the lake are St. Gilgen, Strobl and the villages of Abersee and Ried.
