From there, we continued to Kasteel d’Erp. There, we had a special surprise: Normally, you can't go into the animal enclosure, but a staff member was kind enough to let us in. 😊 This allowed us to see deer, chickens, goats, and even a peacock up close. Of course, a little snack break was a must 🍟😋 Afterwards, we wanted to visit Kasteel De Berckt, but unfortunately, a private party was taking place, so we couldn't go in. On the way back, we passed the former Oostappen Vakantiepark De Berckt. The holiday park has been closed since 2024 and looked like a real abandoned place. 😳 Finally, we discovered a special resident of the garden: 🐷 Fred the pig!
