Perfect Dark N64 - Custom Track 2

Hello. This time around I'm not bringing you a remake, sorry to disappoint. Work is underway on Pelagic II, but I wanted to bring you all another custom track. This one is more of a fleshed out track compared to the custom menu theme I released a while back. With this track, there were quite a few things that inspired me. The main one was playing through the Crash Site level again and also working on the track that accompanies it. This piece started as four separate ideas which I worked on a fair bit to eventually make them fit into one track. Another one of my inspirations for this was Surface 1 from GoldenEye, Especially the percussion that runs from the mid section throughout. I also wanted to give it an epic kind of ending similar to Surface 1 and thought what better way to pay homage to Perfect Dark than to sneak the Carrington Theme in there. I also made use of the guitar loop that Grant recorded for the end credits. It was quite a fluke as I didn't think it'd be in the same key at first, but when it fit, I just knew it had to be part of the track. I'd like anyone who listens to give me their honest opinion what they think and if you like it, maybe suggest a name for this track and we can decide on what it can be called. I also have some ideas for an X track which I'll add on once we have a name. I hope you enjoy and I'll now resume to working on Pelagic II Composer: Matt Spence
