Turbine Blade Cooling Tutorial Using Ansys Fluent Meshing Watertight Geometry Workflow
In this workshop, the mesh generation for turbine blade geometry with cooling passages is performed, keeping in mind the eventual goal of using this mesh to conduct a conjugate heat transfer (CHT) analysis of the model. We will particularly highlight how to assign rotational periodic boundaries to the model and set up curvature local size control. We will also demonstrate how to add boundary layer mesh in the fluid and solid regions for better prediction of temperature gradients.
