Often as artists, it's easy to go chasing for the perfect brush - thinking that if you just get your hands on the ultimate brush set, you're going to be able to paint like the pros who use it. But here's what nobody tells you: If your values are messy and you don't understand light and shadow, no fancy brush will save you. In this 2+ hour real-time demo, I paint Ryu from Street Fighter using ONLY the round brush in Procreate. No fancy tools. No texture brushes. No special effects.
