Changing My Environment Forced Me Out of My Shell
In this video podcast, I talk about why I wanted to become more extroverted and the steps I took to make that happen. I share how changing my environment pushed me out of my comfort zone, what specifically helped me break out of my shell, and how those changes shaped the person I eventually became. One of the biggest catalysts was becoming a Resident Assistant in college. That role threw me into countless awkward situations that forced me to adapt fast. I had to engage with hundreds of people over the years, handle tough conversations, build community, and get tons of reps with public speaking. It was uncomfortable at first, but it became one of the most transformative experiences of my life. This shift genuinely changed who I became. I feel like I’m one step closer to the ideal version of myself I’m always working toward, and I’m grateful I took the leap. If you’ve ever felt stuck in your introversion or unsure how to grow socially, this episode gives you a real look at what actually helped me move forward.
