Several major claims and new developments have emerged in the high-profile Ketan Agrawal murder case in Pune. According to police, accused Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary had allegedly married in secret without informing their families, despite Siya later getting engaged to Ketan. Investigators are examining marriage records, digital evidence, call detail records, location data, and WhatsApp chats as part of the ongoing probe. Police allege that the murder was premeditated and that Ketan was allegedly pushed off the Lohagad Fort on June 18, resulting in his death. Both accused are currently in judicial custody. Given the seriousness of the case, senior Pune Rural Police officials are personally supervising the investigation, while the government has appointed senior advocate Ujjwal Nikam as the Special Public Prosecutor.
