The President of the Special Delegation of the Ouagadougou Municipality (PDS), Maurice Konaté, caught a driver from the Public Transport Company (SOTRACO) siphoning fuel from a SOTRACO bus. This occurred on the night of Tuesday, June 25, 2024, in Ouagadougou, near the Martyrs' Monument in Tampouy. With the help of local residents, the PDS managed to seize the siphoned fuel, but the two individuals involved escaped. On June 26, 2024, the PDS provided further details about the incident.
