Aggretsuko Season 5 is out and oh boy it was an absolute disaster. Covering many politically charged topics with the elegance of an elephant in a china shop, this show goes off the rails and fails at almost every turn to make you care about anything going on Retsuko and Haidas relationship is portrayed as borderline abusive as Retsuko treats the guy like trash just because he has no job I don't understand what the directors were going for other then to make us absolutely hate Retsuko in every way.
