In early 2021, KOFG held an in-game popularity contest. Players voted for their favorite character by feeding them special items. The winners were Iori, Terry and Billy, in that order, and they got one special card shared between the three of them. The stories are part of the “School Festival” plotline: Yukari and the others lend a hand to the neighborhood’s school, which is in need of help for setting up and running the festival’s booths. Billy’s chapter in particular is a direct continuation of another card story, where he is made to play the guitar during the school’s live show.
