scrap wood lidded bowl with scoop
I made a small lidded bowl and scoop for sugar from scrap 2x4. this is one of those projects that you can do in an evening. I mounted the wood to the lathe using a screw Chuck to start, then turned it around and mounted it in a 4 jaw Chuck to finish it off. The finish I used was walnut oil and beeswax. The sugar I filled the bowl with was 50% white sugar, 50% coconut sugar. It's a pretty sweet little project if I do say so myself.
