My First Hackathon

3.5 years ago, I participated in my first hackathon and it changed my life. This is that story. Having no coding experience and with no idea what a hackathon was, I wasn't sure what to expect. But I had lots of fun, learned many new things, met some cool people, and somehow won second place! Most importantly, this hackathon got me interested in computer science and technology, so I did more and more hackathons (14 and counting), and now I'm a Computer Science student at the University of Waterloo.
