THE 2nd EDITION OF THE XERE CULTURAL FESTIVAL

President Dr. Mokgweetsi Masisi is set to officiate at the 2nd edition of the Xere Cultural Festival. The event aims to celebrate and promote the cultural heritage of the Xere region through vibrant displays of traditional dance, lifestyle, the region's rich wildlife and natural environment. A central focus of the festival is to uplift the local community, particularly addressing the challenges faced by the Basarwa tribe which include poverty and cultural erosion. By highlighting the tribe's unique culture and history, the festival seeks to foster greater understanding, support for their ongoing development and preservation efforts.
