Hotel Review: Premier Inn Bournemouth Central - June 2024 -    • Hotel Review: Premier Inn Bournemouth Cent...   . The Premier Inn Bournemouth Central is located on Westover Road and is a short 7 min walk from the sea front and a 5 minute walk from the town centre shops. It is a decent budget hotel in the centre of Bournemouth, which is around a 20 minute walk from Bournemouth Railway Station. I stayed at this hotel for one night on a room only basis in June 2024, it cist me £56, which is a great price for the centre of Bournemouth. The hotel is decent inside like most Premier Inns are. Unfortunately the main lift wasn't working, which meant that for the whole hotel there was only one 3 person lift in operation, which was very inadequate. The bedroom I was allocated was very nice (703), with a balcony, which offered a very partial beach view and some sea views. It was novel having a balcony at a Permier Inn, I've never had this before. The room had the usual Premier Inn bed, open wardrobe, tv, desk etc. The bathroom was nice with a walk-in shower. The main negative with the room was that the air-conditioning didn't work and it was 26 degrees celsius outside, there was a fan in the room but it was very hot and stuffy. All in all I had a pleasant enough stay at this hotel, I wouldn't rule out staying here again in future, but I might also look at other options.
