TVS claims the brakes have also been revised for a better performance than before. All the aforementioned updates were initially introduced only in the dual-channel ABS variant of the motorcycle. But the company has now bestowed even the single ABS trim with all these changes. The Apache continues to boast of a sporty and aggressive design, which received its last update in 2019. However, the revisions were limited to the headlamp cluster which now looks angrier with geometric-looking design and boomerang-shaped LED DRLs. The rest of the body work features a muscular and sculpted fuel tank, split seat setup, and dual-barrel exhaust. The new Apache RTR 200 4V continues to be powered by the same 197.75cc, single-cylinder, 4-valve, oil-cooled mill with TVS’s Race Tuned-Fuel Injection ‘RT-Fi’ technology. It churns out 20.2bhp at 8,500rpm and 16.8Nm at 7,500rpm while being mated to a five-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. The motorcycle also features first-in-class GTT (Glide Through Traffic) technology for a smooth low speed ride. Moreover, there’s a Bluetooth-enabled LCD cluster that has Bluetooth connectivity as standard. To top the goodies off, you get a radial tyre at the rear which is also fitted as standard. Update on the Apache also came in the form of a new matte blue colour option which is inspired by TVS’ One Make Race bikes. Already existing paint schemes include black and white.
