TOMY U.S.S. Enterprise Refit
The TOMY Enterprise Refit from Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979) patrols my kitchen table and workbench. Video taken with a handheld iPhone 17 Pro. Light leaks are definitely plentiful but are 10x more noticeable by the camera than IRL. My reaction to the ship in hand is 99.9% “wow - this thing is awesome” and .1% “too bad they couldn’t eliminate the light leaks”. It’s that good IMO. Comments will likely be the inverse just like with the hole plugs on the TOS Enterprise. Humans lol. Life is short - enjoy your toy. The ship is die cast just like the TOS Enterprise (link below).
