1938 թ֊ի ապրիլի 1֊ը Հայաստանի պետական ջազ նվագախմբի գործունեության պաշտոնական սկիզբն է։ Արդեն 83 տարվա պատմությամբ նվագախումբը հիմնադրման առաջին իսկ օրից հավատարիմ է իր ունկնդրին՝ ստեղծելով միայն արժեքավորը և արդիականը. գրավականն են՝ շարունակական հաջողությունները, հանդիսատեսի համակրանքն ու սերը թե հայրենիքում, թե արտերկրում։ Մի քանի սերունդների հայտնի և սիրված երաժիշտների, մենակատարների, չորս գեղարվեստական ղեկավարների կայացրած շղթայված ավանդույթ, արհեստավարժ և ստեղծարար երաժշտախումբ․․․ Լավագույն միջավայրն է գեղեցիկը արարելու, դրականը գնահատելու համար։ Բարի տարեդարձ Հայաստանի պետական ջազ նվագախումբ։ Սրտանց շնորհավորում ենք նվագախմբի բոլոր երախտավոր նվիրեալներին, գործընկերներին, անձնակազմին: April 1, 1938 is the official beginning of the activity of the State Jazz Orchestra of Armenia. With a history of 83 years, the orchestra has been loyal to its listeners since the very first day of its foundation, creating only the valuable and the modern.
