Is DFCA Too Hardcore for Beginners?
Join the DFCA Roadmap Updates: https://fightercombatacademy.com Is the Digital Fighter Combat Academy for absolute beginners, or only for hardcore DCS World pilots? In this video, I answer the real question behind all the questions I’ve been receiving: who is DFCA actually for? DFCA is beginner-friendly, but it is not unserious. You do not need to arrive as a good DCS pilot. You do not need to already understand aviation, military procedures, ground school, or how to fly properly. That is the point of Phase I. But DFCA is not random DCS entertainment either. This is a structured flight training academy built around progression, standards, SOPs, recorded lessons, custom missions, live instruction, practical tests, briefs, debriefs, Q&As, and real former fighter pilot involvement. In this video, I explain: Is DFCA for absolute beginners? Is DFCA a milsim group or a structured training academy? How realistic is the training compared to real aviation procedures? Do cadets need to read thousands of pages of SOPs? Will there be live instruction and feedback? What happens if a cadet struggles or does not meet the standard? Why does Phase I start with the Yak-52 instead of a fighter? Why are Phase II and Phase III planned around the MB-339? Can casual DCS players benefit from DFCA too? The short answer: DFCA is for people who want a real path. Not random flying first, with structure maybe added later. Structure first. Then serious flying. If you want to stay updated, join the Roadmap Updates: https://fightercombatacademy.com If you want to support the project financially while I work on Phase I full time, you can still join the Founders or take the launch offer from the Ready Room on the website. Both offers have limited seats. Both now have limited time. They will be gone by the end of May. Once they are gone, they are gone forever. Leave a comment with the question I did not answer. Share this video with someone who keeps jumping into fighters without learning how to actually fly.
