Resin Cast from DIY Silicone Mold from Thrift Store Finds

Today, we're finding out if my homemade thrifted molds actually worked! In this video, I unmold the silicone molds I made in the last video and put them to the test using Alumilite 10-Minute Cure Polyurethane Resin. Then I paint several pieces using Fusion Mineral Paint and a new dark wax to create a vintage aged finish. I also share a super inexpensive trick using pastel chalks to instantly add age and character to your resin pieces. Of course, no project around here would be complete without a little chaos. During the unmolding process, my poor wood duck lost its head! Thankfully, the mold turned out great, so making another one won't be a problem.
