Drilling out the aluminum plugs and cleaning the oilways of a 2 litre Nord engine crankshaft. Then inserting new plugs from Classic Alfa. Unlike the other crankshafts for the Nord engine, the 2ltr is nitrided. This makes tapping a thread challenging. Many broken taps result. The more effective option is to hammer in tappered plugs from Classic Alfa. Designed to replicate the factory process.
